Hot - Tapping in combination with line plugging

| Basic Principles of a Bypass Line A bypass line can be created in conjunction with hot tapping and two plugging machines. Four fittings on the main pipe have to be tapped. (hot tapping) A bypass line have to be installed on tap 1 and 4. Two plugging machines have to be installed on tap 2 and 3. (line stop) The product is now diverted through the bypass line. Modification can be made on the main pipe. |
